The Clinical Nurse Leader is a Registered Nurse who delivers clinical leadership with a focus on the improvement of quality and safety outcomes for patients or patient populations. The CNL collects nurse-sensitive indicators, shares that data with staff, and closes the loop on performance improvement initiatives. The CNL identifies best practice and assists the care team in implementation.
BSN and current MI RN licensure required. Master’s preferred, and required within 3 years of hire. Must have evidence of leadership expertise, minimum of four years’ clinical experience and familiarity with the patient population in an acute care setting.
